GRC-ME will aim to boost the awareness of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance in the Middle East

Quadrant Risk Management has successfully launched its research and development portal for IT Governance, Risk & Compliance which has been 
christened GRC-ME.org.
Besides acting as a breeding ground for new IT-GRC initiatives, the website will also aim at promoting the awareness of IT-GRC in the Middle East region by acting as a repository for articles, interviews, surveys and the latest news and updates from the world of IT-GRC.
With organizations in the Middle East realizing the ever increasing importance of involving the top management or in some cases the board of directors when it comes to managing IT risk, GRC-ME.org will serve to assist organizations in the long road to achieving a successful program for IT Risk and IT Governance by providing the requisite information and advice for improving the socialization of ideas between Business and IT within the company.
According to EVP & Director Pradeep Menon, GRC-ME.org was born out of Quadrant's rich experience in the region besides fueling the need for real-life information on the subject within organizations in the region. "Companies in the Middle East generally have a great affinity towards products and consider them as the end and means, even for risk and compliance management. Irrespective of the sector, the critical success factor for the triumph of any IT-GRC program within the organization is an effective leadership that understands the same as an opportunity and not as a liability" he explained.
The site will strive to be vendor neutral in approach and deliver pragmatic contents when it comes to IT-GRC.
Revamp is in line with new strategic initiatives of the company for 2010 and the coming years

The company has redefined the service areas under IT Governance, Risk and Compliance which is its core area of business. The change is based on customer feedback and the rich experience which the company has gained from serving customers in the region ever since the company started operations here in the Middle East.
As EVP & Director Pradeep Menon explains "We have been and will always be a traditional IT-GRC firm. The revamp of our existing service offerings is of a strategic nature as we look to consolidate our position as a regional leader for IT Governance, Risk and Compliance in the region".
